Uganda here we come!

Wow! It's almost hard to believe that the day is finally here and I am leaving for Uganda.

I'm at the airport. I've checked in, my bags are under the weight limit, and made it through security. So far, so good.

I'm not looking forward to the flights. My total flight time in the air is 22 hours with about 8 hours waiting on connecting flights. I know that I will be totally worn out when we arrive at 10 pm on Saturday in Entebbe Uganda. The time we spend in Uganda will be rewarding but the flights to and from are not much fun.

This week has been very stressful. We have had several last minute changes and I've had to jump through hoops a few times to get our team's finances squared away. But, it has all worked out and we are on our way.

I am confident that God will use us and the message of Lead Like Jesus to build His church in Uganda.

Michelle, thank you for your unwavering love and support as I do what I know God has called me to do. Happy anniversary! I love you so much.

Thanks to everyone who will be praying for us. I truly appreciate you. I plan on posting to my blog everyday but that depends on the availability of the Internet.
